Plate Carries
The charge of a plate is 3.4 C, while the charge of a stick is +1.8 C. How many electrons should there be ...? 3
The charge of one plate is 3.4 C, while the charge of one bar is +1.8 C. How many electrons must be transferred from one plate to another for the same charge of two objects?
The emission of everything is (3.4 C + 1.8 C) / 2 = 0.80 C
So the plate should be 0.80 (3.4) = 2.6 C. Transfer
Since the charge size of each electron is 1.60x10 19C, then
2.6x10 6 / 1.60x10 19 = 1.625x10 13 must transfer electrons
Here are some good answers.
